Enhanced 22Mbps speed - This wireless PCI card connects your notebook to an IEEE 802.11b wireless LAN.
The card plugs into a 32-bit CardBus slot of the notebook PC. It delivers up to 22Mbps wireless speed while maintaining full compatibility with IEEE 802.11b standard and operates with all IEEE 802.11b devices.
The card has an integrated antenna supporting operating ranges of up to 100 meters (328 feet) indoors and 400 meters (1,312 feet) outdoors.
Security for wireless data transmission uses the enhanced 64/128/256-bit industry standard WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) encryption protocol. Data privacy mechanism is based on a shared key algorithm, as described in the wireless LAN standard.
